Second Camping trip for the year!!!

Our fun camping trip of the year to Viento State park! This wasn't our first choice but since we have been here many times before we had a feeling it would be open sites. So I guess you can call us crazy for even attempting to go camping when all the forecast said was Rain, Rain, and more Rain....LOL. Pretty funny we still wanted to go. So we headed out Friday afternoon and the weather really was not that bad so we had hope. Well we got a site with no problem and one other person was in the campsite as well.
We figured there would be more but I guess we were the only hopefull ones!
So we set camp up didn't get one drop of rain at later that night...we set up all of our tarps so we were covered!
We woke up in the morning to find guess what??? SUN SUN and more SUN!!!!
We couldn't beielve it...it was seriously 70 degrees by like 1230! We went straight down to the water to let the dogs swim and saw that there was miles of blue sky:))
We had the faith and it looks like our prayers were answered!!
After we let the dogs swim we went for a run and later spent most of the day down at the water! It had to have been about 85 down there...I even got in the water.
Litte chilly but felt so good!!!
Can't wait till it is nice and warm like that every day!

What an awesome trip. Too bad we had to come back on Sunday becasue of me having to work the hoilday:(((
